Including the 150, 210, and Bel Air trim levels, over 1.5 million units of the 1957 Chevy rolled off the production line. In addition, The National Body Manufacturing Company of Knightstown, Indiana also manufactured other cars such as ambulances, hearses, limousines, and professional vehicles, where many were based on the Chevrolet sedan platform of the era.
