Introducing my new Sportsman's Drag Racing Timing System! 🏁⏱️
 
This system is designed to fit any slot car dragstrip or accommodate over a 3 inches wide slot car dragstrip and accurately measure reaction and race times in two lanes, ensuring fair and thrilling results. 
 
Key Features:
False Start Detection: This system detects any false start and automatically stops readings and light sequence for the early starter, lighting up the corresponding red light. The other racer will still have a normal light sequence, time readings, and will be the marked as the winner with a green light at the end of the course.
Time Measurement: With high-precision light sensors, it measures reaction times from the moment the green light lights up until the cars leave the starting line, and the elapsed times until vehicles cross the finish line with milliseconds precision.
Realistic Light Sequence: Start each race with a .400 Pro sequence of yellow and green lights.
Bracket Setting: Easily adjust your vehicle brackets using dedicated buttons for each lane.
Digital Displays: Each lane features two 4 digit 7 segment LED displays showing reaction and elapsed times in real-time, ensuring clear and precise visibility.
Compatible with HO scales, 1/32 and 1/24 scales.
Wired LDR sensors for start and finish lines: Start line cables are 3 ft. long, and Finish line cables are 21 ft. long (1/4 mile for HO scale, 1/8 mile for 1/32 scale).  You can customize these lengths in case you need it.
 
How It Works:
After the system starts, you will begin setting the bracket: Use the buttons to adjust the bracket times, they will be shown on the displays (you'll have a limited time for this).
Preparation: Place the vehicles in their respective lane positions. The sensors will detect when both cars are on Stage.
Race Start: 5 seconds after both cars are on stage, a sequence of yellow LED lights will start the countdown. When the green LED lights up, it’s time to go!
Time Measurement: The sensors record reaction and elapsed race times, displaying the results on the panels.
Winner Detection: Upon crossing the finish line, the system automatically determines the winner and shows the final result.
